How to use the Crypto Payment Service?

The SALAMANTEX Crypto Payment software can be used on all common devices (notebook, PC; tablet, mobile phone) via the internet browser. In stationary trade you can also use the software on our SALAMANTEX Crypto Payment Terminal or on Ingenico terminals of the Tetra Telium series (models Move5000, Lane500, and Desk5000).

In addition, the service can also be easily integrated into your online shop via API or plug-ins. We are open to the possibility of programming or modifying individual software to integrate it into existing hardware systems. WHICH CRYPTOCURRENCIES CAN be used to PAY?

Currently, it is possible to pay with the following cryptocurrencies:

  • Bitcoin
  • Litecoin
  • Dash
  • Ethereum
  • XRP
  • Stellar
  • Nimiq

HOW DOES PAYING WITH CRYPTO CURRENCIES WORK IN PRACTICE?

If a customer wants to pay with a cryptocurrency,

  1. the merchant first enters the euro amount to be paid in the SALAMANTEX Crypto Payment Service App. If the software is connected to a POS system, the euro amount is entered directly into the app.
  2. Now the merchant selects the desired cryptocurrency and confirms the current exchange rate determined by the software.
  3. The payment address is then generated and displayed to the customer as text and QR code.
  4. The customer scans the QR code with any mobile wallet to send his coins to the generated address.
  5. After a short time the receipt of payment is confirmed. The merchant can print one or more receipts for the customer and/or his own accounting department.
