René Pomassl is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of SALAMANTEX. He has been actively engaged in the blockchain sector since 2011. Due to his vast expertise, he is a renowned advisor for several government agencies and chambers of commerce in different countries.

A native of Atzenbrugg, Lower Austria, René always had a natural inclination towards finding logical solutions to everyday problems, learning how to program software at the age of 6. He later worked in various IT and financial institutions, acquiring extensive knowledge and experience in management strategy and building complex IT infrastructures; all of which eventually led to the establishment of SALAMANTEX in 2017.

With René at the helm, SALAMANTEX has not only helped bring cryptocurrencies out of obscurity and onto the world stage, but has grown exponentially across the European region thanks to multiple strategic partnerships with some of the largest companies in the payments sector.

Markus Pejacsevich is the Chief Operating Officer of SALAMANTEX. He is responsible for directing the growth and expansion of the company into emerging financial markets. Born and raised in Vienna, Austria, Markus obtained his Industrial Engineering degree from the Technologisches Gewerbemuseum (TGM) and later attended the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Studies.

He speaks German, English, and Spanish fluently. As an experienced shareholder for multiple investment companies and payment enterprises, he is instrumental in transforming the economic structure of SALAMANTEX by facilitating and supporting collaborations with core industry leaders.

Through these strategic alliances, Markus has successfully positioned SALAMANTEX as a key player in the payments and e-commerce industry, setting the stage for a smooth entry into this new, dynamic ecosystem.

Niall Murray heads the Global Business ventures at SALAMANTEX. He spearheads new market initiatives, identifies current business opportunities and is heavily involved in major strategic decision-making pertaining to partnerships and business development.

Born in Scotland, he spent his childhood in Germany and studied Politics and East Asian Studies at Newcastle University. During that time, Niall spent a year abroad in China and attended the People's University of China in Beijing where he perfected his Mandarin language skills.

Having operated several businesses out of Hong Kong and spending nearly two decades doing business with China, his unique cross-cultural experience is what ultimately brought him to SALAMANTEX. The excitement of building something from the ground up, exploring new ideas and inspiring others to share the vision is what drives him to continue advancing the company’s goal of becoming a global leader in digital assets payments.

Stephan Schmidt is the Chief Commercial Officer of SALAMANTEX. He oversees the company’s commercial development, product diversification and implementation of strategic policies to accelerate business growth.

Growing up in Wuppertal, Germany, Stephan began his apprenticeship at Siemens Nixdorf in Düsseldorf and Paderborn, later qualifying as a Communications Electronics Engineer. He has worked closely with various industries as an accomplished sales expert, focusing on e-payments, security and transactions.

Stephan’s leadership within the company is demonstrated through his formation of a highly skilled sales team with the goal of establishing SALAMANTEX as a global industry leader, while maintaining client relationships and reinventing new commercial strategies for the future.
